چکیده
Key Frame Selection The middle pane in Fig. 1 shows the three rectangular regions of fixed size around the eyes and mouth, selected on an example frame after aligning it with the reference frame f t0 (a neutral rest pose). These regions are used to build the LBP descriptors which are used to automatically find key frames depicting a similar expression as the reference frame. The right pane shows the smaller regions around each of the 66 tracked feature points used to find in-between key frames that share a local appearance with the reference frame around the facial features.

3DFaceNet: Real-time Dense Face Reconstruction via Synthesizing Photo-realistic Face Images
With the powerfulness of convolution neural networks (CNN), CNN based face reconstruction has recently shown promising performance in reconstructing detailed face shape from 2D face images. The success of CNN-based methods relies on a large number of labeled data. The state-of-the-art synthesizes such data using a coarse morphable face model, which however has difficulty to generate detailed ph...
متن کامل3D Face Reconstruction with Geometry Details from a Single Image
3D face reconstruction from a single image is a classical and challenging problem, with wide applications in many areas. Inspired by recent works in face animation from RGBD or monocular video inputs, we develop a novel method for reconstructing 3D faces from unconstrained 2D images, using a coarse-to-fine optimization strategy. First, a smooth coarse 3D face is generated from an example-based ...
متن کاملShape Priors for Monocular Object Localization in Dynamic Scenes
We tackle the problem of reconstructing moving vehicles in autonomous driving scenarios using only a monocular camera. Though the problem appears to be ill-posed, we demonstrate that prior knowledge about how 3D shapes of vehicles project to an image can be used to reason about the reverse process, i.e., how shapes (back-)project from 2D to 3D. We encode this knowledge in shape priors, which ar...
متن کاملTrajectory Triangulation: 3D Reconstruction of Moving Points from a Monocular Image Sequence
ÐWe consider the problem of reconstructing the 3D coordinates of a moving point seen from a monocular moving camera, i.e., to reconstruct moving objects from line-of-sight measurements only. The task is feasible only when some constraints are placed on the shape of the trajectory of the moving point. We coin the family of such tasks as atrajectory triangulation.o We investigate the solutions fo...
متن کاملReconstructing Human Shape and Motion from Multi-view Video
In model-based free-viewpoint video, a detailed representation of the time-varying geometry of a real-word scene is used to generate renditions of it from novel viewpoints. In this paper, we present a method for reconstructing such a dynamic geometry model of a human actor from multi-view video. In a two-step procedure, first the spatio-temporally consistent shape and poses of a generic human b...
